Video shows man being dragged by police after being arrested in OPP incident

Police in Toronto are investigating after a video emerged showing a man being arrested following a traffic stop in the city.

The video, which has since been removed, shows the man being thrown to the ground as police begin questioning him about a domestic incident.

Police have confirmed to CBC News that the incident occurred on Thursday night.

The man, identified as 26-year-old Robert Pascual, has since released a statement.

“I’m not here to cause any trouble,” he said in the video.

“This was not my intention.”

Pascually has been charged with obstructing justice and resisting arrest.

He was released on bail pending a hearing on Friday.

He’s due back in court on May 14.
